To strengthen our team, KARL STORZ Endoscopy (UK) Ltd have two vacancies for: Workshop Engineers Code: 795 We currently have a unique and exciting opportunity for two Workshop Engineers to join our team within our repairs department in Dundee. Reporting directly to the Repairs Manager you will be responsible for repairing, servicing and maintaining endoscopes and other medical devices. This position would suit an individual who has a good understanding of mechanical engineering or an individual who has worked in the medical device industry. Your main duties and responsibilities as a Workshop Engineer within Karl Storz will include: o Conducting repairs servicing and maintenance of endoscopes as directed by the Repairs manager o Process all associated paperwork concerning repairs and servicing accurately on a daily basis o Undertake Engineering work in terms of service and repairs o Ensure day to day maintenance of the work area and good housekeeping at all times. To be considered for this position, you must have: o HNC/City & Guilds in Engineering as a minimum o Proven understanding of mechanical engineering o An organised, proactive and efficient approach to work o Good written and spoken communication skills o The ability to be flexible o Experience within a ISO 9001, ISO 13485 and ISO 14001 registered company would be ideal and a good knowledge of medical devices would be an advantage.
