For our R&D Departement we are looking for a: Head Analytical Development QC Mission: Overall responsibility for all analytical activities within the CMC_self-med unit (new methods, method validation, specifications, stability tests, documentation, release cosmetic trial material, deviation management). Person has to manage teams at GALDERMA's R&D locations in Sophia Antipolis (France), Egerkingen (Switzerland) and in future a team in Germany. Responsibilities: Development and establishment of new methods and opitimization of existing analytical methods Execution of validation of methods Execution of stability programs and establishment of respective stability reports within R&D Discussion of stability results and establishment of stability summary and conclusion reports Discussion / assessment of impurity profiles Transfer of analytical methods to industrial development and/or to external contract manufacturers (out-sourcing) Establishment of specifications Establishment of resp. regulatory dossiers (PIF, CTD, IMPD) Release of samples for cosmetic tests Deviation Management Leadership responsibilities: Lead teams on different R&D sites: France, CH, Germany Set objectives to meet project objectives Resource management Special responsibilities: Assess capabilities on different R&D sites and provide scenarios for resource optimization Support the evaluation of new analytical technologies Assess / evaluate new regulatory guidelines Profile: University degree / Ph.D. in chemistry or other related scientific education Min. 5 years within cosmetic, pharmaceutical or chemical industry in QC Willing to travel up to 40% Experience in analytical chemistry, preferable under GMP German and English: fluent. / French: desired IT: MS office, LIMS About Galderma: Galderma is a global company founded in 1981 committed to delivering innovative medical solutions to meet the dermatological needs of people throughout their lifetime while serving healthcare professionals around the world.
